Dear Jim;
I was reluctant to commit the resources and the time required for our staff to attend Restoration Consultants Remediation Technician Training. My reluctance was based on a misunderstanding of the complexities of fungal remediation (more on that later). Following the class, you and your staff provided exemplary follow-up services and assistance in our remediation projects. You talked the talk and you helped us walk the walk.
With Restoration Consultants assistance, we have continued to hone our fungal remediation skills. The services you provided after the training (testing, project management, coaching and on-site supervision) have been invaluable in providing my staff with a “can-do” attitude on these projects. The bottom line: We are realizing a generous return on our investment from the Remediation Technician Training program.
I am equally optimistic about the other training programs you are planning. Steamatic is aggressive about providing formal and on-the-job training for our employees and I consider Restoration Consultants a qualified provider for future training programs. Nice too that you are right here in River City.
Regarding the misunderstanding of the complexities of fungal remediation: Once you and your staff explained, coached, guided, cajoled and reinforced the training material, it became clear that fungal remediation is not a complex process. It is a consistent application of environmental controls and cleaning methodology that produces predictable results. Environmental variables, proper testing procedures and engineered remediation protocols are complex issues that should be left to qualified environmental professionals like Restoration Consultants (a point I was reluctant to accept without firsthand experience).
I appreciate your personal and collective efforts on Steamatic’s behalf and I look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with you and Restoration Consultants, Inc.

To Whom It May Concern:
My brother and I, as well as two of our key employee’s recently attended Jim Holland’s Remediation Training Class.
We all found the class to be very beneficial. Mold remediation now represents a significant source of work for our company. Jim’s class filled in many blanks and gave us the assurance that we are doing things correctly. Jim Holland is an excellent teacher who utilizes many slides from actual jobs, which really help to make the class interesting and understandable. The class also addressed sewage clean up and restoration which like mold, has a very definite protocol. Again, our company felt the class was a positive worthwhile experience. Jim has produced an excellent Manual for the class, which I use constantly. I highly recommend this class for anyone interested in doing this kind of work as well as anyone who currently does mold work.

Dear John,
I have been most appreciative of the assistance you rendered on the school job I have been involved with. We moved ahead with the job based upon the protocol set by the customer with which we agreed. The job is nearly complete and the testing laboratory results are coming in very good.
I wish we could have justified further involvement with you but the customer would not agree to pay any additional charges.
I feel we have met all OSHA and regulatory requirements and will render a safe building when complete. Thank you again for your professional assistance.

Dear Mr. Holland:
We would like to take the opportunity with this letter to inform you that the County of Sacramento and George Hills Company has been very happy and satisfied with our relationship to date.
We have been very pleased that your firm has been working with both the County and the approved contractors on our Sewage claims. We believe that our relationship with both you and Mr. Banta has provided an atmosphere that has enabled us to control our claim costs and yet provide a service to the claimants and their families. This has allowed us to provide an environment which was safe for the return of the families to their homes.
Overall, we have been very pleased to have this association and we certainly look forward to our continued association.

Dear Mr. Holland:
I would like to take this opportunity to commend you and your extremely competent staff for the thorough training seminars you have presented over the years. In particular, I want to thank you for all of the research, development and planning required for the presentation of the “Remediation Technician Training” class given at your state-of-the-art training facility.
I have been fortunate to have attended these sessions. The knowledge I have gained from Restoration Consultants has enabled my company, Paul Davis Systems - East Bay, to begin to distance ourselves from our “competition” through knowledge and experience that has not been available to restoration contractors in the past.
Thanks again for your hard work.

Dear Jim,
This letter is to thank you for the training which our company received from Restoration Consultants.
Such training is invaluable to companies like ours who on a day to day basis, deal with claims and situations that require the information provided by your training. Since taking the class Sierra Steamway Restorations has been called out on several death scenes, 2 shootings and numerous sewage cleanups. It has made everyone here at Sierra Steamway think before they act on these projects. Some business owners think that training is a waste of time and money, and do not feel that they need it. Our company on the other hand thrives on education. It is sometimes that “one thing” you learn in school which could make or break you. I can only tell you and your associates that by working together to insure others learn the RIGHT way, over the WRONG way, is the ONLY way.
Please accept our heartfelt thanks from all of us at Sierra Steamway Restorations.

Dear Jim,
I wanted to thank you for providing the remediation technician course to our staff at both offices. I know that this training will help to position our company as the leading mold and sewage damage remediation company in Northern California.
Our guys came away from the course excited about going to work. The information that you provided is certainly cutting edge and timely. I was happy to see that our crews developed a healthy respect for working on biologically contaminated buildings without being overly concerned, just as you said they would.
Thanks again and we look forward to working with you on future projects.
