4-Day Description
Four-Day Mold & Sewage Damage Remediation
This IICRC approved course provides professional restorers with the necessary tools to perform mold & sewage remediation. Mold contamination has been identified as a major contributor to building related illness and poor indoor air quality. Without proper mitigation of a water loss, mold can become a problem in less than 48 hours. In addition to mold issues, the effects and handling of sewage backflow has become a major concern for the restoration industry. The IICRC S500 Standard, which outlines remediation procedures for sewage backflows, has changed the way restorers must deal with “gray” and “black” water losses. This course includes hands-on training in our permanent built-in facility, “"Stachy Shack ®," & "Mold Motel ®." The IICRC AMRT/S Exam is offered at the conclusion of course.
