| John Banta, CAIH, B.A., Environmental Health Scientist John is Certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene as a Certified Associate Industrial Hygienist with a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Health Science and 17 years of experience in Indoor Environmental Quality. He is a specialist in microbiological problems resulting from water damage in buildings.
John is a Certified Mold Remediator, an Applied Microbial Remediation Technician and an approved instructor for both the IAQA and IICRC. He has conducted investigations, trained technicians, established worker safety and health programs and supervised crews in sewage, flood and fungal remediation throughout the United States. He is the co-author of the book titled Prescriptions for a Healthy House: A Practical Guide for Architects, Builders, and Homeowners.

| Mark Ayers, Remediation Project Manager, CMR Mark has 25 years experience in construction, providing residential and commercial building repair and remodeling services. During the past seven years he has specialized in demolition, restoration and reconstruction of fire-damaged, water-damaged and sewage-contaminated buildings. He is an experienced estimator, having engaged in all phases of the building, restoration and reconstruction industry. Mark's building experience includes water proofing and specialty coating systems. He has provided project management services for many high-profile remediation projects. | Jeff Bishop,
MTC Since 1970 Jeff Bishop has provided management for 3 diversified cleaning and restoration businesses serving Alabama, Georgia and Florida. He is a ’67 graduate of the University of Georgia and the Army Ranger Course. He is a second-generation restorer, a Certified Master Cleaner, Master Restoration Technician, a Certified Carpet, Vinyl, and Wood Laminate Inspector, and a Certified Mold Remediation Supervisor. Jeff's teaching career began in '73, and since then he has produced 13 books and 7 videos on management, cleaning and restoration subjects. He writes a monthly column for Installation and Cleaning Specialist Magazine entitled "Rx for Restoration." He serves on the advisory board of the Insurance Technical Training Institute, as a Director of the International Society of Cleaning Technicians, and as IICRC’s Technical Advisor. In his current capacity, Bishop has participated in the development of technical information in 18 Certification Categories and 4 industry standards, while representing the IICRC on industry technical issues. |

Ronald K. "Ron" Reese,
CR, WLS Ron founded REE-Construction as a provider of emergency, content and structural reconstruction services in 1983. Reese has served as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Water Loss Institute since its inception and was named WLI President and to the Board of ASCR in 1998. Reese has chaired the WLI’s annual Conference, Water Damage Remediation of Indoor Environments and facilitated discussions on a wide range of subjects from safety and the health effects of biological contamination resulting from moisture intrusion (i.e., mold and sewage damage remediation) to ethical and pricing issues. He has been published in such trade magazines as Cleaning and Restoration and National Underwriter. In addition he is called upon to address national and international gatherings of various industry groups as an expert spokesperson for the industry. |

MTC Ruth has the unique perspective of a small fabric care and rug store business owner, and flooring inspector, Ruth Travis has over 19 years experience in maintenance, restoration and inspection of carpet, rugs and upholstery. Through her business, RL Seminars, Inc., Ruth consults with consumers and manufacturers as well as gives seminars and teaches cleaning related courses. Ruth Travis is the only IICRC-approved instructor who has a Bachelor of Science degree in Textiles. She is an IICRC-Certified Master Textile Cleaner, Master Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician, Journeyman Water Damage Restoration Technician, Senior Carpet Inspector, IICRC-approved Color Repair, Upholstery Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning and Rug Cleaning Technician instructor. As an active volunteer in the cleaning, restoration and inspection industry, Ruth currently serves the IICRC as Marketing Committee Chairman, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and is on the IICRC Rug Cleaning Technician Committee and was one of the editors of the IICRC Standards.
