Applied Thermography Training (ATT)

2-day course

If you are involved with building diagnostics, your success in the use of an infrared camera is proportional to your understanding of the physics of infrared, the principles of thermodynamics and the application of those principles to moisture investigations and building envelope investigations. Come to our unique two-day program and learn to use your IR camera for interior moisture investigation issues, for missing or compromised insulation issues and air leak detection issues. You’ll get the most out of your camera when you are comfortable with the technology.

Instruction includes:

  • Basic physics of infrared (electromagnetic spectrum, radiosity, emissivity, reflectivity, transmissivity)
  • Basic principles of thermodynamics (conduction, convection, IR radiation)
  • Basic principles of psychrometry (thermodynamic properties of moisture)
  • Infrared camera basics
  • IR Camera settings for various investigations
  • Identification of false positives (understanding of surface characteristics)
  • Application of IR for moisture issues
  • Application of IR for insulation integrity issues
  • Application of IR for air leak issues
  • Hands on training
  • Image analysis
  • Report software training

Discounts

  • Applied Thermography Training for just $95.00 with purchase of IR camera from MoistureView!
